Tim Trumble graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO in 2004. He completed the Chinese Herbal National exam in 2005 and obtained the designation of Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. He’s been practicing in Steamboat Springs since September 2004.

Tim is a licensed practitioner of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Colorado.
Inspired by Oriental philosophy since his teens, Tim developed an interest in Japanese Martial Arts, and has continued the practice for over 30 years. His first experience with Acupuncture was for a sprained ankle at his new Dojo in Boston in 1984. His studies took him to Japan to study Martial Arts and Japanese language for over 6 years (where he sought out brilliant Acupuncture from masters for various martial arts injuries). While in Chinese Medical school, Tim was able to study Qigong with several high-level instructors and now teaches Qigong as well. His martial arts and meditative practices inform his work as a practitioner of Oriental healing arts. “The development and focusing of energy (Qi) are for the patient’s benefit in the Acupuncture clinic and for conflict resolution in Aikido.
"Going into Oriental healing arts was not a change in direction, just a widening of my path".
